Fashion Show is an event that our executive board feels strongly that this event brings us together in celebration of an art form the fashion industry has neglected, we are here in celebration of Afrocentric beauty, in celebration of our identities so invigoratingly brought to life through fabric and design.

Obioma
Senami Atonkpahoun was born in Benin West Africa, she believes her West African background has had a huge impact on her creative work. She arrived in New York at the age of 4. "I get a lot of my inspiration from my culture and childhood experiences. Everything from the food, fabrics, language and way of life inspires me. My goal is to represent my country in the most positive light and be able to eventually give back and aid in its development with my business and management skills."

Designs By Attaa
BY ATTAA’s founder, Attaa Du was born in Ghana where her passion for fashion was cultivated. Her mother was a tailor and as a child, she was extremely creative with clothing. She began her clothing line in 2017 where her mission has been to create statement designs with vibrant African prints that embody the luxuriance of the African culture.
Attaa received her Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy December 2018. As important as her clothing line was to her, her education remained her number priority. The fashion industry is “over-saturated” and can be difficult to differentiate yourself from others. Attaa advises all those interested in being fashion designers to always have a back-up plan while consistently working towards their fashion goals and aspirations.

Aude Swim
Kouakou Djézeahou Aude Elsis, better known as Aude Harris was born in Côte d’Ivoire, Africa and comes from the Baoulé Tribe. Having a mother from Monrovia, Liberia, Aude was able to incorporate her knowledge from both countries into her swimwear. Aude graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Marketing. Aude traveled back home to Ivory Coast where she was inspired by the culture, people, and, textile of clothing. Aude Swim by Aude is a collection of daring and timeless swimwear styles, utilizing cheeky Brazilian cuts, seamless finishes, and sexy high cuts. Along with a mixture of unique and bold designs, including African tribal prints, women worldwide can connect to African heritage.

Aude Swim is the definition of bold and sexy. They are all created from the wonderful Kouakou Djézeahou Aude Elsis, better known as Aude Harris.

EZ Clothing
Seiko (EzClothin) is a 24-year-old Ghanaian, who started her brand 3 years ago in the hopes to create "bodycon" form-fitting and haute-couture clothing in African print. Her mission is to give others who don’t have the opportunity to travel to Africa to feel and embrace the amazing culture through her clothing.
She hopes to expand her business by educating people from different ethnic backgrounds not only about the different styles of clothing but also what Ghana has to offer as a country.
